Amada's Hinge Form Tool allows the forming of the hinge to be performed on the punch machine, eliminating the need to purchase the hinge thus saving further costs. The forming operation relies upon two tools. "C" Station and "B" Station. The "C" Station tools performs the initial forming operation and the final curling operation is performed by the "B" Station tool. This finally leaves the insertion of the hinge pin as a secondary operation. The forming operation offers a quicker, more accurate and consistent hinge, saving time, costs and maximising productivity. |
