POLYCARBONATE DIES
Radius bending is a common operation now performed on press brakes. However marking problems can arise on the component by the material slipping in the die or with tooling joints. The Polycarbonate Die is specifically designed to combat these problems when performing radius bending.A radius bend can be formed with ease in the die by using either a standard radius tool or the Colour Radius Tooling. The Polycarbonate Die has a large 70 degree angle to cope with large material spring-back. This also helps to prevent material slippage. There are three "V" sizes available- 32, 40 and 50mm.The Polycarbonate Die is half the weight of a standard die so ease of handling is guaranteed. |
