PNEUMATIC HEMMING DIE

The use of 'Hemmed' or 'Dutch Folded' safety edges often slows down the production process. Amada's Pneumatic Hemming Die gives added versatility by also acting as a 60mm die block spacer or single V die holder.

Tool base can be permanently set on the machine lower beam, enabling traditional tooling and bending to be carried out as normal.
When 'Hemming' is required, the pneumatic hemming die is activated, allowing this process to be completed 'in-cycle'.
Full hardened & ground solid length hemming tool, eliminates marking.
Die setting Direct: 14mm tang or 60mm with 1'V' die. With die holder: Standard or reversible 2'V' die.
20 degree inclination, decreasing risk of component sliding away from the die or component collision of lower beam.



* For material greater than 1.2mm - maximum hemming flange must be less than 16mm. ** Standard punch and die tonnages apply.
