The use of 'Hemmed' or 'Dutch Folded' safety edges often slows down the production process. Amada's Pneumatic Hemming Die gives added versatility by also acting as a 60mm die block spacer or single V die holder.
- Tool base can be permanently set on the machine lower beam, enabling traditional tooling and bending to be carried out as normal.
- When 'Hemming' is required, the pneumatic hemming die is activated, allowing this process to be completed 'in-cycle'.
- Full hardened & ground solid length hemming tool, eliminates marking.
- Die setting Direct: 14mm tang or 60mm with 1'V' die. With die holder: Standard or reversible 2'V' die.
- 20 degree inclination, decreasing risk of component sliding away from the die or component collision of lower beam.
