Job title: |
Software Applications Engineer This position is full-time and based in our Kidderminster Head Office with occasional requirements to complete training and installations at customer sites. |
| Job purpose: | Provide customer software training and support via email and telephone and on site when required
Install software solutions packages remotely and at customer sites around the UK Undertake problem solving and productivity analysis Promote renewal of software contracts Complete divisional administration e.g. organising logistics and record keeping Provide support assistance to Amada staff both in the UK and overseas |
| Key attributes required: | Minimum of HNC in relevant subject Proven interest and experience in role discipline Good IT skills in networking and computer knowledge Excellent communication and presentation skills Teamworking skills Good time management and attention to detail Smart appearance Experience of working within a manufacturing environment would be desirable European language abilities would be an advantage (esp. Spanish and Italian) |
