The Amada school in Kanagawa, Japan, has been running the Precision Sheet Metal Technology Fair for the last 28 years promoting advancements in sheet metal technologies.

This annual competition, which is open to all, allows engineers of all talents to show their skills against others from across the globe.

In 2015, 254 applications from all over the world, many from within Europe, registered their parts within Amada’s competition. A German company won one of the prestigious awards in the sheet metal assemblies section.
