AMADA History

Established in 1946 by Mr Isamu Amada, AMADA was originally dedicated to the production of bandsaw blades.

Its founder drove the company to innovate through the design and manufacture of bending machines, followed by the original NCT turret punch press and laser cutting systems.

Today’s global group is composed of 80 companies and subsidiaries in 70 countries.

More than 60 years later, AMADA has 6400 employees and 3100 design and technical patents.

AMADA is now a world leader in the field of sheet metal production equipment and technical innovation.
